I had hoped that I would be able to tie all my online family history and genealogy activities together in one blog, using my new Tumblr blog: Family Tree for KD
.
But it turns out that finding other folks who are interested in this subject seems to require a more wide-ranging approach. In other words, I have to be on Pinterest, Tumblr, Blogger, Twitter, (and more?). I don't know. Anyway, I'm going to keep posting to all of the above, while maintaining activity here as well. Crazy! Follow me wherever you can find me!

Welcome to Geneabloggers. This is a great blogging community. I'm also on face book and pinterest. Much of what I do on the social networks is related to family history and genealogy. I try to tie the three geneabloggers/lpinterest/facebook together.

Regards,

Grant

Kyle, it is hard getting the word out there on all the social media outlets! Sometimes, though, it is slow and steady that gets you on everyone else's radar. Keep at it. It will happen.

I found you today, thanks to GeneaBloggers. You will certainly find yourself getting some exposure through there, as GeneaBloggers includes an internal search mechanism that many people use for locating bloggers working on the same surnames.

Best wishes as you continue your many blogging projects!

I had to look back into my history and I started this blog five and a half years ago in September, 2007. This is the most comments I've ever had on any of my posts, thanks to Geneabloggers. After a while I started thinking I was doing all this mainly for myself, which was OK, and I kept doing it. This is giving me some momentum to try to reach more folks. Doesn't hurt that I got a phone call today from a relative who's going to send me some family gems she turned up when her ex-husband died. Thanks all, and I followed all of you through Blogger's "My Blogs" area, which I plan to use more now.

I've also been active on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Google+ to publicize my blog as well.

Best to you in your blogging endeavors!
